Lunch With the Family

We came to Main St. to have lunch. This food stall in the basement of a mini mall was really good.  It even got a "B" rating from the food/restaurant inspectors.  Lol.  I guess that's got to be pretty good for a small greasy little food stall in a basement of a mall.

Here's the front of the food stall.  They have the menu up in pictures.

It didn't occur to me to take pictures of the food before we started eating but I think you all can get an idea of what it is.  This is the fish and tofu stew.  It was a little spicy but not unbearable.  The flavors were nice and the fish was fresh and tender.

We also ordered the spicy chicken.  It looks like it's drowned in spicy oil but it was very flavorful.  This was served cold.

Penny wanted to try the rabbit.  It wasn't gamey but I wish they would've chopped the meat up a little better.  There were little bits of bone everywhere!  The flavors were similar to the chicken and the fish but has it's own unique flavor.

Although we didn't eat a this particular food stall they had a picture of Anthony Bourdain, top picture, eating here.  There was also a food stall that sold only lamb dishes that was featured in his show as well.  There was just so much variety it was hard to choose.
