Lawn Countertop Drying Rack

Yeah, I don't know about this. I can just see it now, mold spores growing at the bottom of those grass blades.

The kitchen is the place to be if you are one who loves whipping up dishes for the entire family, and more often than not, the perfect kitchen is one that is practical and not only looks good. After all, there is a place for everything, including leaving the dishes out to dry. The $27.49 Lawn Countertop Drying Rack is not only functional, but it will also throw back fun into the kitchen, boasting flexible grass blades that are ideal to ensure your glasses, cups, utensils and other kitchen accessories will remain in place to dry out. Whatever excess water will be collected at the bottom of the tray, where the evaporation process will continue the drying process after that. Coming in a two-piece, easy-to-clean design, not only is it low profile, it would also spruce up any kitchen.

You won’t be able to practice your putt on this though, and best of all is, the Lawn Countertop Drying Rack is BPA, PVC & phthalate free. That ought to put the minds of homeminders to rest, especially in this health conscious age.

Spare One – The Extra Emergency Cell Phone

For those of you who simply can't live without your cell phones.... I wonder how much it's going to be??

Oh the mobile phone, what a love/hate relationship we have with them. I can’t even begin to imagine how we got along without them. I try to remember what it was like to be a teenager, one that didnt have a cellphone glued to the side of my face, or worse *gasp* a parent, that didnt have instant access to their child. A flat tire, forgotton milk or a traffic jam took on whole new meaning back then. Forget or lose your phone or even just let the battery die, and you’ll soon remember what it was like…

But now you can let the Spare One come to your rescue, the worlds only phone to be powered by a single AA battery, that alleges up to a ten hour talk time AND, if left turned off and unused is suppossed to be ready to go for 15 years? Yup, you read it right, 15 long years waiting in your glove compartment or disaster kit for just the right moment to save the day… and discrediting any “my battery died” excuses from both children and spouses…

So I can see the Spare One becoming the phone for folks who never use phones or an emergency only phone for you or your kids. It can be stored in the glove box along with your first aid kit and flares (you have those right?) for roadside emergencies. Which is really great for any “new” drivers in your family. Its the obvious choice for disaster preparedness, where charging your regular phone just isnt an option and it can even be used as a travel phone and loaded up with minutes for use only on your vacation.

The Spare One will begin shipping in march of this year and with a pricetag of right around 50 bucks I have a feeling they will be quite popular. Visit SmartOne.com for more information, or to get on the mailing list to be notified when they become available.

Hello Kitty KISS

Hahaha! Hilarious!

The sad thing is that although we all already know that Hello Kitty has completely sold out (think Hello Kitty vibrators or Hello Kitty Hooters), this doesn’t stop others from collaborating with the evil feline and confirming that they, too, have completely sold out. There really is no other explanation for the Hello Kitty KISS collaboration:

Hello Kitty Kiss

Of course, this does give perspective. All of a sudden all those Dr. Pepper KISS commercials don’t look nearly as terrible as they once did…

Sent in by far too many people who obviously need to find much more constructive things to do with their lives…

Cute Kitsound koala speaker dock for your iPhone

Uh..... I don't know, it just looks weird to me....

koala-speaker.jpg

We love this speaker from Kitsound, which lets you play tunes from a round little koala bear's tummy!

It's basically a dock too, so push your iPhone into the top to play and charge, or use the speaker's 3.5mm aux socket to hook it up to other MP3 players. When you switch it on the little creature's nose will light up and you can swipe his touch sensitive ears to adjust the volume too.

The sound quality probably won't be the best out there, but it's cute for kids or as a fun addition to the office.

You can only get your hands on one of the koala speakers from UK stockists at the moment for £53.99, but expect them to be more widely available in the next few months.
