I was forwarded these images the other day, the ice formations are so pretty.  It's amazing to me that these things happened naturally due to temperature changes.

Anthony and Melissa's Wedding

So the special day was this past Sunday. It was awesome to be there. I didn't take as many pics as I thought I would so I'll have to wait for the actual album from the professional photographers. I'm excited to see them, I can't wait.

Mani/Pedi

It's been so long since I've spoiled myself. If anything this is the most girly thing I really like to do. felt so relaxing, ahh. Oh and tomorrow is Melissa's wedding! Yay! That's the real reason I decided to actually spend the money to get them done. I'm glad I did though, feels great!

Lunch?

So the cart guy from whom I buy my coffee in the morning apparently has a crush on me. So he gave me a free cupcake/muffin thingy. I didn't get to go get lunch today so I guess this is lunch...

Lost Little Bird

There was a little birdie sitting outside my store today. it looked lost and cold. I felt bad for it but I know birds carry diseases and what not so I didn't try to take it home and take care of it.

We haven't been to this restaurant in a long time since pops cooks dinner every night now but it was nice to eat out.  We of course took food home since there was only 3 of us eating.  So yummy.

Scotch Tape

I know my cousin has already posted these but I'm going to post them again for those who don't follow her blog. These are all made of scotch tape. The ones with clothes on are also scotch tape. Kind of cool looking, I wonder how long it took them. I think my favorites are the one of the little child with the ball sitting on the curb, the ones sitting on the walk/don't walk sign, the one pulling the bus stop sign, and of course the puppy dogs.

Snails

I saw some snails crawling on a row of bushes on my way to work. I just thought it was so bizzare that they would be crawling on TOP of them. The bushes are about 4 feet high.

Red Blood Cells

They look like little cinnamon candies here, but they're actually the most common type of blood cell in the human body - red blood cells (RBCs). These biconcave-shaped cells have the tall task of carrying oxygen to our entire body; in women there are about 4 to 5 million RBCs per micro liter (cubic millimeter) of blood and about 5 to 6 million in men. People who live at higher altitudes have even more RBCs because of the low oxygen levels in their environment.

Purkinje Neurons

Of the 100 billion neurons in your brain. Purkinje (pronounced purr-kin-jee) neurons are some of the largest. Human Embryo and Sperm

It looks like the world at war, but it is actually five days after the fertilisation of an egg, with some remaining sperm cells still sticking around. This fluorescent image was captured using a confocal microscope. The embryo and sperm cell nuclei are stained purple while sperm tails are green. The blue areas are gap junctions, which form connections between the cells.

Labor Day Weekend

What did you do this Labor Day Weekend? I went to Palm Springs, CA with my sister and two girlfriends. It was an amazing weekend, although I only was able to go for the weekend I made the most of the weekend by relaxing by the pool and catching up with the ladies. We rented a house there so we had all the privacy we needed and the cost split among 4 came out to only be a little bit more than hotel. Not bad.

Me and my friend Karen had facials and my sister had a deep tissue massage. We also went to visit Elvis' Honeymoon Hideaway house while there. It was really fun. I only wish I were able to stay longer. It was good times though and I'm looking forward to my next trip with the ladies.
